Mountain
At more than 1,500 meters above sea level, above the village of San Pellegrino in Alpe, where lie the bodies of the Saints Pellegrino and Bianco, between the village and the “Giro del Diavolo”, is the pasture of San Pellegrino in Alpe.
The alp is still used today, from June to September by the shepherds who raise the sheep “garfagnina bianca”.
The pasture is located along the route of the path 00 that separates Tuscany by Emilia Romagna. Is reached by car from San Pellegrino proceeding towards the Radici pass and taking, after a few hundred meters, the road on the left indicating “Le Lame”.
