The Province of Lucca takes part in the Salone del Gusto in Turin this year. There are two, in fact, the occasions on which, in the space served by Tuscany Regional Promotion (Pad2- 2E102 – 2G101), will present the latest products of the cross-border project ‘TerrAgir2’: a promotional video on wine tourism in the province of Lucca, the new madeinLucca site, the brochure madeinLucca and the two connected app available soon on the touch screen placed at the IAT of Lucca, Capannori, Seravezza, Barga, Altopascio, Viareggio, Borgo a Mozzano, Pietrasanta, Castelnuovo Countryside, Forte dei Marmi, Camaiore Camaiore, Bagni di Lucca and Camaiore.

The site madeinLucca comes with updated graphics and a new narrative concept that links land, products and ways of enjoying the tourist areas of production, but also as an attractive tourist destinations. There are areas dedicated to business, always related to wine tourism, where you can participate to “taste” and experience of the area, tasting in business, recreational fishing or harvesting of chestnuts, the events dedicated to local products and not least the local recipes innovative and creative, always required, a blog that follows the events throughout the year in the area complete site telling live events, territories, products, chefs and producers.

The two presentations (Thursday 23 and Friday, October 24 at 17.00) will be followed by a tasting of local products made ​​with the help of producers present at the Salone del Gusto also with its stand: the Birrificio del Forte Forte dei Marmi with beer the centenary made ​​for the 100th anniversary of the City of Forte dei Marmi, the butchery Gombitelli (Camaiore) with a whole portfolio of meats company, and the Consortium spellt IGP with a special recipe “surprise” prepared for the occasion .

Another area of Lucca inside the big event is the presentation of joint cross-border projects sull’agroalimentare, TERRAGIR “Vagal + Medl @ ine involving the Province of Lucca, in a special stand (Hall 2 Stand 2F126) shared with the partner regions Liguria Sardinia Corsica and Tuscany and managed in collaboration with the conduct SlowFood Compitese Gardens Lucca Lucca. In this booth, in addition to a video presentation will be organized wine tasting: biroldo, quercetane olive oil, potato bread and red bean Lucca.

Also in collaboration with the convivium SlowFood  Lucca, Compitese, Orti lucchesi , the Province will be present in the space of MST-Manifattura Sigaro Toscano (SIG01) which will be held at the island of Lucca with a selection of wines from the Lucca area particularly suitable for combination with Toscano. At the same time, will be presented dishes prepared by some young women chefs Lucca (​​Saturday 25 at 20.30) in honor of Lucca women whose Manufacture, has been a vanguard for their historical participation of women in the production process.
